Hi Julia & Aneisha —
Attached you will find coverage maps of properties within
the 1 Alger St. neighborhood which was prepared by
Engineering America Co. in 2015 for the previous ZBA
application. I believe that these maps will be helpful to
the new ZBA members to observe the coverage of other
homes in the neighborhood, confirming that this project is
consistent within the community character. More
specifically:
- the neighbor to the South of this project has an
approx. coverage of 64.8% with the garage
- there is a 6 family building with approx.. 62.6%
coverage across Woodlawn St.
- The house directly across Alger St. from the
project has approx. 63% coverage.
Comparing just these properties, we believe that the
proposed project at 56.3% coverage is within the same
character of the surrounding community. There are other
properties of similar coverage within the block as well.
Thank you again for your time.
