HomeMy WebLinkAbout20220784 303 Nelson Ave Area Variance Public Comment 302 Nelson Avenue Saratoga Springs, NY 12866 August 30, 2022 Saratoga Springs Zoning Board of Appeals Attn: Gage Simpson (Chair) 474 Broadway Saratoga Springs, NY 12866 RE: Project 20220784 303 Nelson Carriage House Office-second level To Chairman Simpson and members of the Board of Zoning Appeals, We are in receipt of the Public Hearing Notification Letter regarding Project Name: "303 Nelson Ave." We do not plan to attend the meeting but submit the following to the Board and respectfully request that it be reviewed as a part of the hearing on this project. The previous decision did not include a request or specific approval for relief to place plumbing fixtures on the second floor (UDO 9.5 A.7 permits plumbing only on the first floor or below). We support the application to permit the requested variances and an additional variance to allow, per the prior submitted design, a sink and toilet on the second floor under the condition that there be no overnight stays: No sleeping, cooking or bathing facilities are permitted and the space shall not be used for overnight stays. ,I Mitchell E.
