NOTICE OF DECISION
In the matter of the application - #20190299
Saratoga Golf and Polo Club
301 Church Street
Saratoga Springs, NY 12 866
Involving the premises with tax parcel #165.-1 -20.11 , in the City of Saratoga Springs, on an
application for site plan for proposed expansion of club facilities; including platform tennis
courts, new cabana and pro shop buildings and associated parking in the INST-PR District.
In accordance with 6 NYCRR Part 61 7, the Planning Board classified this request as a Type II
action exempt from further SEQRA review.
And, in accordance with objectives, standards and guidelines contained in the City Zoning
Ordinance, chapter 240, article 7.2 "Site Plan Review", the Planning Board issues the
following decision on May 2, 2019 (passed 7-0-in favor: Torpey, Totino, Bristol, Casey,
Horton, Fabozzi, Boivin):
Approve with the following conditions:
1 . Provide copy of shared access easement with Saratoga Hospital for access to the site
off of Myrtle Street.
2. Install reinforced turf in the parking area as identified on the plan to maintain site
permeability.
3. Include a stone dust or wood chip meandering walking path connecting the tennis
courts to the pool.
4. Provide a hedge buffer between new drop off area and Church St.
5. Final plans shall be provided to the satisfaction of the City's designated engineer and
DPW.

The applicant is required to:
1 . Deliver a letter of credit or cash escrow in the amount approved by the City Engineer to
the City per Article 7.2.1 5 of the City of Saratoga Springs Zoning Ordinance. This must
occur prior to final signature by the Planning Board Chair.
2. Submit one (1) mylar and two (2) paper copies of the final approved site plans for
signature by the Planning Board Chair within eighteen (18) months of approval as per
Article 7.2.12 of the Zoning Ordinance.
Note: this approval shall expire within eighteen (18) months of the signature of final plans if
the applicant has not started actual construction as per Article 7.2.14 of the Zoning
Ordinance.
