In permit review discussions with the Building Department, it was brought to our attention that the finished floor elevation (FFE) approved during subdivision was lower than our requested FFE. Due to high ground water, we are requesting that the finished floor elevation be set at 281.2' to maintain a basement that can have gravity-controlled perimeter drainage. The FFE approved during subdivision by the land developers was 278', a difference of 3.2'. Enclosed is our homeowner's application to the Planning Board requesting a modification of the FFE to 281.2'.
