The existing structure was built in the early 1900's as it appears on a Sanborn Map as a storage shed. The applicant has been in touch with the Preservation Foundation and was told verbally that it has no historic significance. Structurally, the roof is sagging and showing disrepair in the shingles and decking. The overall frame is leaning and is compromised and not level. At this point, it poses a safety liability as it is in danger of collapsing. We would request to remove the existing structure. Respectfully submitted Susan L.
