Address 268 Broadway Clty Saratoga Springs State New York Zlp COCl2 12866 Phone Number 5183078031 Project Name 269 Broadway Proposed Mixed Use Commercial Building PrOjeCt Number 20210755 Project Address 269 Broadway Comments It was very disturbing that, after being told that the 269 Broadway project would be first on the 3-24-2022 agenda and there would be opportunity for public comment, the project was moved to last on the agenda, the applicant was once again given more than 15 minutes for their presentation and then the public was told it was too late to speak (after a 4 1/2 hour wait). It is particularly damaging because the applicant's responses to critical issues are often not accurate. The public has little opportunity to correct these inaccuracies before the Planning Board members are convinced that the issue no longer exists. Prime example: Last night, the applicant claimed there will be sufficient street parking for the hundreds of employees who will need all day parking, yet the streets identified are mostly no parking, or 2-3 hour parking zones intended for their customers! Some people are already avoiding downtown Saratoga Springs because of the traffic congestion and having to park so far from their destination.
