Following discussion on this matter on June 2, 202 I , the Commission issues the following opinion: C� Favorable Opinion Considerations: Mass and scale as a sin�le structure is more apTpriate than separatin� into multiple structures. The sitin� on the lot and location in the rear of the principal structure is apTpriate. The location, mass, and scale reflect the ima�e of a horse barn, which the DRC finds apTpriate for this application. The DRC su�ests the applicant consider ways to create depth in the fa�ade, such as extendin� the roof eaves or bumpin� out some of the bays.
