I have lived across from the school for almost 16 years and seen more problems than good with those who visit. Trespassing on private property, breaking furniture and littering everywhere. My family and I have personally brought trash bins down the road to pick up debris numerous times. In addition, noise at all hours. One big concern is no supervision of the children/young adults. They seem to do what they please, despite complaints. There are picnic tables and chairs set up along Loughberry Road South which look awful. They are left broken, tipped over and scattered through the wooded area. Trees are chopped down and occasionally left slashed and bent over and broken in the road. We were told years ago that some type of buffer would be put to block some of the school (lights, noise) and year after year, nothing has been done. The trees are diminishing due the the students or camp children destructing the property. An increase of the number of students will hurt the area and street where I live. I apologize if they are not students, I was told it was a school, but I am not sure. It seems like a camp and sometimes buses and cars are there for one day while other times it is for weeks. There might be some day use activity as well. There are numerous busses that arrive at all hours already and I wonder if the existing capacity permits are even checked. Is their any oversight by anyone? I can keep talking about this unfortunate request that is being proposed. I don't think it should be done. I have not seen benefits in the educational system or experience the school is portraying. The destruction of the area has not benefited any of us that live on the street. The students there do not seem supervised are are not engaged in organized activities, which increases mischief. It seems like a free for all and is unsettling for my family and I. Thank you for listening. Attach Photo (optional) Field not completed. Email not displaying correctly? VIeW It Ifl yOUr bf OW521:
