Dear Tamie,
The Saratoga Springs Preservation Foundation reviewed the revised plans for the proposed
addition to 149 Spring Street. This vernacular Greek Revival residence, circa 1860, is a
contributing building of the East Side Historic District listed on the National Register of
Historic Places.
Board of Directors While the roof height of the rear extension was raised at some point, it was not demolished as
stated at the March 6, 2019 Design Review Commission meeting. The Foundation still has

Membership & Programs Commission choose to ignore the guidelines and approve the addition, the Foundation is
