In the interest of full disclosure, John Haller, the applicant, is a member of Board of
Directors of the Saratoga Springs Preservation Foundation who also serves on the
Executive Committee. I, Samantha, was the person who suggested to the Executive
Committee, not John, that the Foundation offer a letter of support. John recused himself
from the discussion. The Executive Committee offered its unanimous enthusiastic support
for use variance to allow for Saratoga Joinery to move forward. The Foundation is
interested in supporting the Saratoga Joinery in promoting the preservation trades and
provide educational opportunities to develop this important workforce.
Thank you for your thoughtful consideration.
Sincerely,
