Clarify whether infiltration testing for the stormwater management areas were conducted in c�ccordance with Appendix D of the Netiv York State Storrr�water Design Manual. Additional iunfiitration testing was completed as �recornmended.Results are shown on the revised plans. 2. Percolation tests we�e reported to �ange frorra seven (7) to forty�eight(4&) �nfnutes per inch while the proposed design utilizes fifteen (I S) minutes per inch. Cla�ify and revise HydroCAD accordingly. Perca�ation testing for�he stormwater areas resulted in 5 to 7 minutes per inch. Details need to be included to model that conveyance to the public right of way. Each discharge point is now indicated and the Hydro CAD �odel has been updated accordingly. 5. According to the 1VYSSWD,pretreatment volume for infilt�atfon practices is deter�nined by the veri�ed inf ltration �cate. Based upon the infiltration rate stated, a pretrea�ment volume equal to or gr�ecater than 50% of the required WQv must he p�ovided, Verify this volume is provic�ed in the designator�p�e-t�eatment inf lt�ato�isolato��ow. The plcan.r shc�ll include a pretreatment or cadv�nced treatment of the wastewc�te�to red'uce the hydraulic%hemistry/quality loading of the t�ecztment system. Pr�ovide ca plumbing schematic show which systems flow through any p�etreatrnent and which go directly to the septic tank. This veterinary clinic is di�'�crent than most because Dr, S�kule on13�performs on cats. All waste goes into trash, not down the draan. See attached le�ter from Dr. Sikute. 3. Report stc�tes that the estimc�ted daily demand is 1,705 gpd with c�n assumed applicataon t-ate of 1.0 gpd/sf for�conventional absorptfon laterals and capplies a �eduction factor with use o�'tnfaltr�ator chambers. While this red�cction factor is acceptahle, the Repo�t should�eference the use of irafaltrcato�chambers and theie I redative reduction factor. T�e infiltrator chamber allowed fo�reduction by State regs are now referenced in the Engineers Repo�-t. 4. Report states tha�percolation rates wer�e veri�ed in the fielc�and ranged from seven (7) to forty-eight(48)minutes pe�-inch. Howeve�, the�lans note the percalation rate is three (3) minutes per inch, Please clarafy the design percalcrtiora rate. Test pit and pe�eolc�tion datcs shc�ll provide relevant data and include, date of co�npletion, by whom, soil composition and pe�colataon rates. � Additional�esting was done and noted on the plans. Design is based on seven � € minutes. Pl�ns and reports have been revised accardingly. � 5. Report states that the�roposed design uses a design rate offive (5) minutes per � inch, which is less than the seven (7) to forty-eight(4S) minute range obtained in � the field. � �ee above responses. 6.
