HomeMy WebLinkAbout20211240 61 Van Dorn & 46/46A Seward Residential Subdivision Correspondance (2) 2452 STATE ROUTE B LAIVSIIVC� ENGINEERING, PC MALTA,NY'120 0 T[51 S�BJ9-5243 F[5183 B�B-5245 December 16, 2021 Mr. Mark Torpey Planning Board Chairman City of Saratoga Springs 474 Broadway Saratoga Springs, NY 12866 RE:Van Dorn&Seward Street Subdivision—Subdivision Extension Request Dear Mr.Torpey: Lansing Engineering provided an application to the City of Saratoga Springs Planning Board for Subdivision approval on behalf of Top Dog Enterprises, LLC for the property located between Van Dorn &Seward Street in the City of Saratoga Springs.The project received subdivision approval from the Planning Board on July 15, 2021,conditional that the applicant completes additional items pursuant to the City's Subdivision Regulations as stated on the Notice of Decision. Lansing Engineering would like to request consideration of the extension application of the Subdivision Approval for the Van Dorn &Seward Street Subdivision. Following the subdivision approval by the Planning Board, no significant changes have been made to the proposed engineering plans. An email confirmation was received from Mr. Matt Zeno of the Engineering Department, and Barton & Loguidice (City Designated Review Engineer) stating all comments have been addressed and no additional action is required. The emails are attached for your reference. The process for the applicant to complete the remaining conditions of approval has taken longer than expected and requires an extension. The items required to be completed prior to the Planning Board Chairman signature of final plans are listed below; • Approved Letter of Credit delivered to the City of Saratoga Springs ($46,659.14) • Recreation fees provided to the City of Saratoga Springs($6,000) • The proposed easements have been reviewed and approved by the City Attorney's Office and filed as required. The applicant is aware of the remaining conditions of final approval and is committed to providing the final required items to the City of Saratoga Springs however,construction is not anticipated to begin until after the current expiration date ofJanuary 11, 2022. We request that the Van Dorn &Sewer Street Subdivision Extension request be placed on the next available City Planning Board agenda.
