SITE PLAN AMENDMENT NARRATIVE:
As Pitney Meadows Community Farm, Inc progresses to the second stage of construction, some
redesign was necessary to create a seamless flow between the site plan and buildings. It became
more desirable to locate the Children's Greenhouse adjacent to the Children's Garden Plot area
rather than at the southern area of the property.This was done to minimize the crossing of the
driveway into the farm by children. The size of the structure is 24'x35' and will not require a
foundation or utility connections.
The Site also requires the addition of a Restroom Facility Building which will be located within the
vicinity of the existing barns. Originally the site plan proposed restrooms within an existing
repurposed out building. For efficiency of layout and materials, a new building is being proposed.
This building will require a sanitary sewer connection as well as a water line and electrical
connection.
The addition of the above structures and utility line will be added to the existing As-Built drawings
and resubmitted to the City following construction.
