We offer the following comments that should be satisfactorily addressed by the applicant: 1. While the applicant has added information to the infiltration basin detail,the following should a(so be indicated on the plans: a. The requirement that the bottom of the infiltration basin be located a minimum of 3 feet above seasonal high ground water; and b. Construction notes (also provided in the sequence of construction) that indicate the area shall be protected from heavy construction equipment traffic and not conneeted to the storm system unti(the completion of construction and the final stabilization of all upstream areas. 2. The SWPPP should expand upon the descriptions of potential sources of stormwater pollution,such as: construction debris, litter, chemicals/materials associated with construction, and post construction pollution sources such as petroleum products discharges, and the best management practices to be implemented to prohibit discharges. � 3. Dry Wells [In accordance with the NYS DEC Stormwater Design Manual for Dry Well (I-3)]: a. The design should be revised to be in accordance with the design guidance (Section 6.3.1 page 6-35), that states that the drainage area to dry wells should include rooftop runoff only; b. The design and construction details should be revised to indicate dry wells to have a maximum depth of 4 feet(page 6-42 of the Design Manual); and c. Observation Well: i. A construction detail should be provided for the observation well that includes an anchored six- inch diameter perforated PVC pipe with a lockable cap installed flush with the ground surface.
