Comments In the interest of preserving a sense of continuity with the his-
toric structures of Broadway, I would ask the DRC consider the
excessive size and scale of the proposed structure as it relates
to surrounding structures in this Historic District. While the addi-
tion of a mixed use structure in this area is welcomed, the
height, depth, and style lacks any relationship with those in the
surrounding area. A smaller scale structure with design ele-
ments better relating to those on the surrounding historic mixed
use structures would seem more appropriate.
