Project Address 422 Broadway Comments Hello, I need to voice my opinion again on the proposed structure at 269 Broadway which will be presented before the Planning Board Wednesday evening. I sent a similar letter the first time this plan was proposed and based on the drawing I have seen, nothing has changed. The size of the proposed structure is too large for the space and as I have stated before, does not fit in or showcase the type of architecture that is part of Saratoga's history past and present. This monstrosity would be seen by ALL entering our beautiful city and I hardly think this is what we would want peo- ple to see...as I said before, the architecture(s) simply need to walk around Saratoga to see what can be accomplished with a new building. Obviously, they have not. I also understand the there is expectations to include a parking garage that has many potential issues such as the water table (according to their own study) which could negatively impact surrounding buildings and also a limited amount of spaces for parking. As a resident of Broadway I fully understand the impact that limited parking causes -to add more angst to this dilemma is really unreasonable. All being said, the size, scope and esthetics of this proposed structure must be re-thought, again. It just too much!
