Project Address 269 Broadway Comments As a resident of Saratoga Springs I have a strong opposition to the proposed mixed use project at 269 Broadway. The design clashes with the beautiful historic nature of the brick buildings on either side of this project and simply doesn't belong in an area known for its historic buildings. The size of this building overwhelms the buildings around it and will stick out like a sore thumb! I am tired of developers taking advantage of loopholes and zoning code to maximize height of their projects to in- crease their profits. We are destroying the very fabric of what makes Saratoga Springs a beautiful city. Allowing projects like this to be built MUST STOP! This project needs to confirm with the height and facade of the historic buildings next door. If McDonald's could conform with a building that doesn't look to- tally out of character, this developer can do the same. The building is too tall, uses too much glass and concrete and is TASTELESS! Please preserve the nature of our city and reject this design now! This bowing to developers has to stop! Attach Photo (optional) Field not completed.
