In the matter of the application

Casner Exterior Modifications

Involving Historic Review of exterior modifications for an existing single-family residence within the Urban
Residential-3 District, tax parcel #166.53-1-50, within the City of Saratoga Springs.
In accordance with 6 NYCRR Part 617,the Design Review Commission classifies this request as a SEQR:
EC Type II action — exempt from further SEQR review
And, in accordance with the objectives, standards and guidelines contained in the City Zoning Ordinance Article
240-7.4 Historic Review, the Design Review Commission issues the following decision on July 21, 2021:
EC Approve with the following conditions:
Change the proposed casement windows (2) to wood double hung windows to match the existing windows in
size and style.
The deck/stair proposal to be modified to eliminate the railing and wrap the stair around the deck. To be
constructed of natural materials. Revised deck plans to be submitted and approved administratively.
Note: this approval shall expire 18 months from the issuance date unless any necessary building permit has been
issued and actual work begun.
Record of vote: motion to approve made by K. Cavotta, seconded by R. DuBoff: passed 6-0
In favor: T. Ehinger C. Bennett, K. Cavotta, R. DuBoff, T. Roemer, E. Sheehan
Absent: L. DiCarlo
As a result of this decision, the applicant:
EC may proceed with the proposed project as approved
