NOTES to support Proposed Site Plan & Zoning Compliance Chart
Proposed Structure will increase the current principle building coverage in 3 ways:

2 floor will overhang the pre-existing 1 floor in the rear of the house (2’ x 20’ 5 ¼”)
Overhang over front porch extended (27’ x 4’)
o Overall set back to match pre-existing structure
o Requesting an extension of current non-conformity
Overhang of roof on the Schuyler Road Front side (~12-18”)
o Requesting a 23’ setback (24’ 9 1/4” currently exists) to account for new
overhang
Proposed Shed, to be no larger than 12’ x 12’ – Requesting an Area Variance to be 3’6” off each
side instead of 5’.
Note: Neighbor’s Garage is ~3’ 6” from same property line (requesting the same)
this has been factored into the overall permeability %
Shed will be a minimum of 5’ from the principle building
Shed is optional. If the request for a variance for a shed impacts the Zoning Board’s
decision on the Principle structure, please strike the shed from the plan. The house is
the priority
Added the location of a pre-existing 12’ x 12’ paver patio in rear of house to Site Plan
this has been factored into the overall permeability %
Proposed Principle Building coverage % is 35.7%
Proposed Permeability % is 42.3% - meaning 57.7% will remain permeable
Updated the Zoning Board Application. Previous notes did not account for the extension of

porch, the 2 floor overhang in rear of house, and the inclusion of a garden shed.
