Summary description of proposed action: Please see attached proposals from contractor. I have significant water
damage at the back of my home. The damage is around the windows and back door by the deck. At this point my plan is
to replace rotted wood sidling with the same style wood siding. Cost will be a major factor in how I am able to proceed.
My husband and I are both retired and the cost of repairs might be an issue. Depending on the extent of damage will
determine if we arc able to replace with the wood siding or change to the vinyl siding. The arm affected is the back
portion of the house, the front is shingled. The deck had to be removed to get to the damaged wood. The foundation of
the deck is still intact and will remain. The deck floor and top rail will be replaced with Trex decking (coconut). My front
porch is also an issue, its enclosed and has numerous leaks. That proposal is also attached. I have been actively
searching for a contractor for 4 years and I think I finally someone that will help me with these repairs needed on our
tamely home.
