Dear Mr. Torpey,
M.J. Engineering is requesting an Administrative Action for the above referenced project. The Site Plan,
which was previously approved by the Planning Board with a Notice of Decision signed on October 3,
2017, has been revised in order to protect NYSDEC wetlands in the rear of the property. NYSDEC decided
to take jurisdiction of the wetland in the rear of the parcel after Final City Approval. The DEC has approved
the attached revised plan. The changes to the plan are as follows:
• The septic system was relocated from the rear of the property to the front and changed from a
raised bed septic system to a dosing mound septic system.
• The rear parking was moved closer to the building
• The dumpster was relocated to the south property line
• The 24' wide entry drive was moved approximately 6' to the north to allow the septic system in
the front b-
• Configuration of the fenced in play yard
Because of these changes, there is now less disturbance to the site. The building, front parking area,
loading zone and property line treatments remain exactly as they were in the approved Site Plan. Zoning
variances also do not change as a result of these minor site plan changes.
Please see attached Site Plan which underlays the previously approved plan (in red) with the revised site
plan which clearly depicts the few changes to the site plan. The property owner, Matt Sames, has
submitted a $250.00 check, in anticipation of this Administrative Action request.
