LAYOUT NOTES 1. ALL LINES AND DIMENSIONS ARE PARALLEL OR PERPENDICULAR TO THE LINES FROM WHICH THEY ARE MEASURED UNLESS OTHERWISE INDICATED. 2. ALL LINE AND GRADE PER DRAWINGS AND SPECIFICATIONS SHALL BE LAID OUT BY A NEW YORK STATE REGISTERED SURVEYOR ENGAGED BY THE CONTRACTOR. ALL STACKED LAYOUTS OF PAVEMENTS AND SITE IMPROVEMENTS SHALL BE APPROVED BY THE OWNER'S REPRESENTATIVE PRIOR TO INSTALLATION. 3. STORAGE AREAS FOR CONTRACTOR'S EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS SHALL BE ON AND WITHIN LIMITS OF WORK AS SHOWN ON THE PLANS AND AS APPROVED BY THE OWNER'S REPRESENTATIVE. 4. CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY ALL EXISTING CONDITIONS IN THE FIELD PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION AND REPORT ANY DISCREPANCIES IN THE SITE SURVEY TO THE OWNER'S REPRESENTATIVE PRIOR TO STARTING WORK. 5. AT ALL LOCATIONS WHERE EXISTING CURBING, BITUMINOUS CONCRETE ROADWAY OR CONCRETE SIDEWALK ABUT NEW CONSTRUCTION, THE EDGE OF THE EXISTING CURB OR PAVEMENT SHALL BE SAW CUT TO A CLEAN, SMOOTH EDGE. 6. FIELD ADJUSTMENTS MUST BE APPROVED BY THE OWNER'S REPRESENTATIVE AND CITY ENGINEER PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION. 7. ALL EXISTING UTILITIES SHOWN IN THEIR RELATIVE POSITION.
