The accessory uses allowed are a temporary accessory dwelling, not additional principal primary uses . (See definition of principal building) 3) If there calling this another principal building then according to zoning definition (see attached) it needs to be located the closest to the front property line, and perhaps on its own separate lot, which it is not proposed that way. Also, if there saying they are allowed to have 2 principal one family buildings on one lot then how come it is not considered a 2 family use? Then each would need 6,600 square feet and 60 feet of frontage for each home along a street. Other wise I believe this would be considered a 2 family use on the property which is not a permitted use. So, the key is what are they calling this new building? 4) If they are calling this a temporary accessory dwelling then it must be located within the existing building according to the law, which it is not. (see definition) So, in my opinion the way I read there zoning law I believe there are some additional issues with this proposal which are not spelled out in the cities letter of denial.
