Project Address 215 Grand Avenue Comments As close neighbors to this proposed project, we do have some concerns with the subdivision. Primarily; -The resulting piece of vacant property from the sub-dividing would be very small and any house constructed on that prop- erty would assuredly be in close proximity to the existing struc- ture. Our expectation is that two homes constructed in such close proximity would be quite unsightly and given that it is di- rectly across the street from our home, and would be directly in the sight light of our property, we do have serious concerns that it could adversely impact the value of our property. - Similarly, the construction of a home on the subdivided prop- erty would result in at least one large tree being taken down, which would change the aesthetics of the surrounding land- scape and again, could adversely impact the value of our home. Further, the removal of the tree seems like a particularly ironic result„ given the current efforts to add trees back to the neighborhood. - While the above two items are our primary concerns, on a smaller scale, we generally feel the subdivision is very odd, as it will result in a very small piece of property that a house will need to be squeezed onto and will contribute to further over- population of the neighborhood. For the reasons above, we are in strong opposition to this project. Attach Photo (optional) Field not completed. Email not displaying correctly?View it in your browser.
