RE: 203 Church Street—Exterior Alterations
Dear Tamie:
The Saratoga Springs Preservation Foundation has reviewed the application for
exterior alterations at 203 Church Street.
The Queen Anne style house was built circa 1910. It is a contributing building to the
West Side Historic District listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Board of Directors
Adam N.Favro The Foundation is pleased that the owner is removing the aluminum siding and will
President repair the existing historic wood siding and trim. It is also pleased that the snow
James Gold slides will be replaced with copper. The Foundation does not object to the
Vice President replacement of the door located on the first story of the two-story bay of the west
Linda Harvey-Opiteck facade with a wood window. The Foundation also understands the need for ADA
Secretary accessibility. Therefore, it does not object to the ramp that can be removed in the
Dmitriy Yennolayev future if it is no longer necessary.
