Dear Planning Board Members, I writing to express my desire that there be no adjustment to the preservation of the mature silver maple tree on the property at 9 Birch Street. Our neighborhood has seen many mature trees cut down in the last few years due to development, including many on this recently divided property located on Hyde and Birch. This has negatively impacted our neighborhood by diminishing the natural beauty of our streets, the shade that these trees provide, the habitat and food supply of our birds and small mammals and the quality of our air. If the preservation of this tree was a condition of subdivision, a house design that respected this decision by the Planning Board should have been pursued. Many thanks for your consideration of this comment. Sincerely, Taryn Matusik 9 Hyde Street Saratoga Springs https://m.saratoga-springs.org/h/printmessage?id=110278&tz=America/New_York 1/1
