Members of the Zoning Board of Appeals -
I am the home owner of 9 MacArthur Drive and I am in receipt of the Public
Hearing Notification Letter for the above-referenced zoning variance
application. I am writing to voice my support for the City granting this
variance to the Bishops so that they can complete their project as designed
and presented.
Based on the information presented in their application, the Bishop's
addition and other apparent cosmetic changes to the exterior of the existing
structure improve the property's "curb appeal" as well as the utility of the
home for their purposes, without creating any issues for the neighboring
properties. Therefore, I support the zoning variance for relief of the rear
setback requirement from 30 feet to 22 feet, as requested in the application.
