understand �t,this�ar�ance conc�rns an apartm�nt that was pre-existing v►rhen Ms, ��ufiani purchased
her hame.
Dur h�me,which we purchased in �.�16, is �mmediately�ehind hers, At the t�me vf our purchas�,the
apartment was a pre-ex�sting con�it'r�n. As w� understan� the use�arian�es, one �f the cr�teria �s th�
�Qtentia[ impact+af granting the�ariance might hawe�n the neigh�orhood. As an immediate n�ighbar,
we see no such n�gati�� impact, �specialiy gi�en that the apartment was there when we purchased our
h�m�. Not granting�h��ariance wau�d be w��se as w�e would haWe t� bear the c�nstru�tian n�is�e �f
remo�ing it. As is, Rvse's property is extrem�ly well k�pt, w►h�ch adds�a�ue to al� of our homes. 1Ne
wauld not want to ��se her as a neighb�r.
Wh�le we understand that the ru�es❑f the �ity are what they are, we fe�l that �oth sh� and we w�u�d
