Saratoga Springs, NY 12866
Involving the premises with tax parcel #165.-2-76.1, in the City of Saratoga Springs, on an application
for a Permanent Special Use Permit for up to 29 multi-family residences within the Transect-5
Neighborhood Center District.
In accordance with 6 NYCRR Part 617, the Planning Board classifies this action as an Unlisted action,
assumed lead agency and issued a SEQR negative declaration on November 1, 2018.
Having properly noticed and conducted a public hearing on January 10, 2019, as required, on the
proposed uses;
And, upon evaluation of the application based on the City's enumerated criteria to ensure that the
proposed use(s) will not adversely affect surrounding properties and community character;
And, in accordance with requirements set forth in the City Zoning Ordinance, chapter 240, article 7.I
"Special Use Permit", the Planning Board issues the following decision on January 10, 2019 (passed 6-
0-in favor: Torpey, Totino, Casey, Horton, Bristol, Fabozzi):
ll Approve with the following conditions:
I . Civic space shall be provided, proposed public art will be coordinated with the City's Arts
Commission prior to site plan review.
2. Sidewalk connectivity to eastern property boundary shall be provided. Specific design
considerations will be reviewed at site plan review.
3. Concept including apartment building with no additional curbcut, consistent sidewalk and
solely utilizing on-street parking shall be provided in general accordance with the attached
sketch plan.
4. Up to 29 multi-family residential units are approved for the site.

Note: this approval shall expire 18 months from the issuance date unless all conditions have been
complied with and actual work begun.

Attached please find the Special Use Permit Extension Application for the Askew—Station Lane Project.The Special
Use Permit currently in place expires July 10,2020.In correspondence with Susan,she stated the application must be
submitted to the City prior to the expiration date,not approved by said date.She also relayed that the only items
required for submission are the application and the original Notice of Decision for the project.Please contact me if
