In the matter of the application

Station Lane Apartments – Mass & Scale
Station Lane
Saratoga Springs, New York 12866
involving Architectural Review of a new 3-building, 39-unit apartment complex within the
Transect-5 Neighborhood Center district, tax parcel #165.00-2-76.1 within the City of
Saratoga Springs.
In accordance with 6 NYCRR Part 617, the Planning Board, acting as SEQRA lead agent, issued a
Negative Declaration of environmental significance on November 1, 2018.
And, in accordance with the objectives, standards and guidelines contained in the City Zoning
Ordinance Article 240-7.5 Architectural Review, the Design Review Commission issues the
following decision on May 13, 2020:
Approve with the following conditions:
Applicant granted partial approval for general mass & scale and authorized to pursue building
permit. Applicant to return for final review of façade, fenestration, materials, colors, etc.
Note: this approval shall expire 18 months from the issuance date unless any
necessary building permit has been issued and actual work begun.
Record of vote: motion to approve made by TEhinger, seconded by RDuBoff: passed 7-0
In favor: TEhinger, KCavotta, LDiCarlo, CBennett, LMechem, RDuBoff, ESheehan
As a result of this decision, the applicant:
may proceed with the proposed project as approved
