involving Architectural Review of a new 24’x26’ detached accessory structure with carport within the Transect-5
Neighborhood Center district, tax parcel #165.83-1-40 within the City of Saratoga Springs.
In accordance with 6 NYCRR Part 617, the Design Review Commission classifies this request as a SEQR Type II
action – exempt from further SEQR review.
And, in accordance with the objectives, standards and guidelines contained in the City Zoning Ordinance Article
240-7.5 Architectural Review, the Design Review Commission issues the following decision on May 13, 2020:
Approve with the following conditions:
The transom and garage door are to be treated as a unit.
Note: this approval shall expire 18 months from the issuance date unless any necessary building permit
has been issued and actual work begun.
Record of vote: motion to approve made by LMechem, seconded by ESheehan: passed 7-0

As a result of this decision, the applicant:
