In the matter of the application

involving Historic Review of side porch removal/building expansion and new side entry porch within the Urban
Residential-3 district, tax parcel #166.69-1-9 within the City of Saratoga Springs.
In accordance with 6 NYCRR Part 617, the Design Review Commission classifies this request as a SEQR Type II
action – exempt from further SEQR review.
And, in accordance with the objectives, standards and guidelines contained in the City Zoning Ordinance Article
240-7.4 Historic Review, the Design Review Commission issues the following decision on May 13, 2020:
Approve with the following conditions:
The applicant will repair rather than replace the front door. The rear door will be of natural materials.
The slate roof will require additional review.
Note: this approval shall expire 18 months from the issuance date unless any necessary building permit
has been issued and actual work begun.
